Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Business IT Analyst to join us on-site in Munich, supporting a leading global player in the financial services and insurance sector.

In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and IT teams, contributing to the analysis, design, and implementation of solutions within a complex, enterprise-scale environment. You will work on initiatives involving system integration, process optimization, and IT-driven transformation across core business functions.

This position is well-suited for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with a structured, hands-on approach and is comfortable operating in a consulting-driven, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Analyzing and documenting business processes and requirements within complex IT landscapes
• Acting as the interface between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams
• Translating business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Supporting implementation of IT solutions, including testing, validation, and rollout
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on system integration and data flow topics
• Identifying optimization potential in existing systems and processes
• Facilitating workshops and ensuring clear communication across stakeholders
• Contributing to structured project delivery in a regulated financial environment

What we are looking for

• 3–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT-driven environments
• Strong analytical skills and experience in requirements engineering and process analysis
• Experience working with enterprise systems or complex IT architectures
• Background in financial services, insurance, or banking is a strong advantage
• Experience in consulting or client-facing project environments is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English and German (must-have)
