Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Planning is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and driving the long-term strategic vision of Fintech Premier League. This leader will conduct market and competitive analysis, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic plans that align with FPL’s mission and objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading strategic planning cycles, coordinating cross-functional business initiatives, and building financial and operational models to support decision-making. The role involves partnering with senior leadership and external stakeholders to refine positioning, expand partnerships, and enhance the tournament’s impact across the fintech ecosystem. The Vice President will also monitor key performance metrics, adjust strategies based on data-driven insights, and prepare clear executive presentations and reports.

Qualifications

  • Strong Strategic Planning and Business Planning skills, with experience developing and executing long-term organizational strategies.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to interpret data, assess industry trends, and support evidence-based decisions.
  • Solid Finance knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, and evaluating business cases and investment opportunities.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence senior decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Prior experience in fintech, sports management, events, or related industries is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism.
