Scrum Master
The organization digitizes notarial formalities through approximately 50 domain services delivered by multiple Agile squads. As a Senior Scrum Master, you steer the delivery flow, team health, and Agile discipline for one or more squads. You will take over an existing squad, develop the structure, and ensure predictable delivery in a regulated, mission-critical environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Agile Facilitation — Lead sprint ceremonies, remove impediments, protect team focus.
- Team Leadership — Coach squads in Agile/Scrum; maintain and improve existing team structure.
- Delivery Flow — Monitor velocity, flow, and risks; ensure compliance with Definition of Done and quality standards.
- Jira Governance — Structure initiatives, epics, releases, and dashboards; ensure clear reporting.
- Scrum-of-Scrums — Represent the squad, coordinate dependencies, and drive consistent reporting at the program level.
Required Skills
- In-depth mastery of Agile/Scrum in multi-team environments.
- Strong team leadership and coaching skills.
- Hands-on experience with Jira structuring (initiatives, features, releases, workflows).
- Predictability in delivery: flow, velocity, Definition-of-Done.
- Removing impediments and alignment with stakeholders.
- Ability to take over an existing squad and guarantee continuity.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, including leading demanding squads.
- Proven experience coaching other Scrum Masters.
- Good command of Scrum-of-Scrums or comparable scaling practices.
- Languages: Dutch + English or French + English (mandatory).
- Autonomous, result-oriented, and comfortable in mission-critical environments.
Nice to Have
- Agile certifications (PSM, CSM).
- Experience with SAFe.
- Jira Advanced Roadmaps / Plans.
- Experience with AI-supported delivery workflows.
