Role Description Student Volunteers at Youth United Festival support the planning, setup, and coordination of festival activities and events. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with registration and guest support, guiding attendees to different venues, helping manage queues, and providing information about schedules and programs. Volunteers may also help with backstage coordination, distributing materials, maintaining cleanliness and safety in event areas, and supporting social media or photo documentation as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring availability during festival days and preparatory periods. Volunteers collaborate closely with the organizing team and other volunteers to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for all participants.

  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using phones or tablets for coordination, messaging, or event updates.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine interest in youth events, festivals, or community initiatives.
  • Availability to be on-site in Chennai for the full duration of the festival and related preparation days.
  • Prior volunteering or event support experience is helpful but not required; students from any academic background are welcome to apply.
