Huawei is expanding its delivery capabilities across Eastern Africa, and Huawei is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end project execution based in Tanzania.
This role is built for a seasoned professional who understands the carrier landscape inside out. You will take full ownership of project life cycles, manage large-scale budgets, and act as a trusted advisor to Huawei customers and stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Take ownership of project scope, timelines, and deliverables from inception to closeout.
- Assemble, lead, and mentor high-performing project teams, building long-term local capacity.
- Manage project financials, optimizing budgets and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
- Build and maintain tight relationships with clients, aligning expectations and delivering on promises.
- Drive quality assurance across all milestones, identifying risks early and implementing swift solutions.
- Deliver clear, data-driven progress reports and strategic solutions to senior stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS"
- +7 years of hands-on project management experience dedicated to the carrier domain.
- Deep professional knowledge of OCS (Online Charging System) and Mobile Money platforms.
- A proven track record within top-tier telecom vendor or operator environments (such as Nokia or Ericsson).
- Strong leadership credentials, with the ability to manage teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- PMP certification is highly preferred.
