C++ Software Engineer (Mid-Level & Senior)

Location: Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

Rate: 50-60hr

We're partnering with an innovative client to hire five Mid-Level and Senior C++ Software Engineers to join a growing software development team. If you're passionate about building high-quality software in a Linux environment and enjoy working with modern C++ technologies, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and integrate software while contributing throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and integrate software applications in a Linux environment.
  • Develop reliable, maintainable, and high-performance applications using C++17 or newer.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, implementation, testing, and integration.
  • Work in an Agile development environment with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience developing software on Linux-based systems.
  • Proficiency with modern C++ (C++17 or later).
  • Experience with the Qt Framework.
  • Experience working through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

  • Git
  • Visual Studio Code or vi
  • Bash scripting
  • AI-assisted software development tools

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
