Responsibilities:

  • Maintains contacts within the underwriting unit, and occasionally with other organizational units in accordance with the needs of the work, including Business development unit and intermediaries/clients/partners
  • Monitors requests for the preparation of offers/policies; Analyses risk data; Proposes underwriting solutions
  • Provides conditions and quotations for insurance within the required deadlines and according to the internal guidelines in the company, aiming to ensure fast and efficient underwriting of risks
  • Prepares insurance related documentation (policies, invoices, annexes, terminations, renewals) for specific or complex risks
  • Provides support to all sales channels and actively participates in negotiations with clients
  • Participates in projects for development or modification of IT solutions, other projects as needed
  • Works closely with risk engineers in respect of risk assessment
  • Prepare letters to clients for preventive measures and recommendations for risk minimization, in coordination with risk engineers
  • Participates in development of products and preparation/amendment of General terms and conditions
  • Defines underwriting rules and guidelines for standard insurances
  • Responsible for quality interactions, service and communication with intermediaries, clients and partners

Requirements for the Position:

  • Higher education: Bachelor's degree
  • Professional experience: A minimum of 2 years in the same or a similar position in the insurance sector is considered an advantage
  • Professional level of English proficiency, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work with MS Office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
