The Role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Assembly & Warehouse Manager to lead our day-to-day assembly and warehouse operation, ensuring our luxury lighting and furniture products are assembled efficiently, accurately, safely and to the required quality standards.
This is a practical, floor-based management role. You will lead and develop a team of skilled assembly technicians while remaining hands-on in the warehouse and on the assembly floor.
Responsibilities include managing the physical flow of materials through the warehouse, supervising inventory movements, scheduling and guiding warehouse and assembly team members, and implementing health and safety procedures. The role also requires close collaboration with our Product Development and Sales Operations teams, to ensure that work is clearly prioritised, resources are effectively allocated, components are picked, and products move efficiently through assembly to finished goods to meet delivery timelines and maintain product quality.
Key Responsibilities
You will have:
Experience in low-volume, high-value manufacturing, lighting, furniture, interiors or electrical products would be advantageous.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the operation, managing people and solving practical problems, while bringing greater structure, efficiency and control to how products move from components through assembly to finished goods. You will also be someone who is continually looking for opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency and quality.
Location: Barking, London
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours per week), on-site
