Quality Control Lab Technician III - CDMO

Hartmann Young is partnered with a global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) with over 30 years of experience partnering with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to support the development, manufacture, and delivery of therapies for patients. We are looking for a Quality Control Lab Technician III to join the team in Rensselaer, New York.

The Role

You will support Quality Control laboratory operations by coordinating stability studies, performing analytical testing, and ensuring laboratory activities are completed in accordance with cGMP and regulatory requirements. You will manage ongoing stability programmes, review analytical data and laboratory documentation, prepare stability reports and protocols, and collaborate with internal teams and external customers to ensure projects are delivered within established timelines. You will also support regulatory submissions, customer audits and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The Person

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or a related scientific discipline;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within a pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory;
  • Experience working within a cGMP pharmaceutical testing environment;
  • Strong knowledge of stability testing, analytical documentation and laboratory compliance;
  • Previous experience coordinating multiple laboratory projects and managing competing priorities.

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or a related scientific discipline;
  • Experience writing stability protocols and preparing stability summary reports;
  • Knowledge of ICH stability guidelines;
  • Experience supporting customer audits or regulatory submissions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environment. They will possess a strong understanding of cGMP principles, stability testing and laboratory documentation, alongside excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting cross-functional teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
