Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Security Guard role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and control access to buildings and facilities. Responsibilities include observing and reporting suspicious activity, responding to incidents, following safety and emergency procedures, and completing clear, accurate incident reports. The role also requires assisting visitors, providing basic customer service, and working closely with other security personnel and site staff to maintain a safe environment.

  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to interact professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors.
  • Candidates should possess Physical Security and Private Security skills to protect premises, assets, and individuals effectively.
  • Candidates should possess Personnel Security abilities to support access control, identity verification, and compliance with security policies.
  • Ability to remain alert, make sound decisions under pressure, and follow established security and emergency procedures.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Basic IT literacy for using security systems, communication devices, and incident reporting tools.
  • Relevant security certifications, licenses, or training (such as SIA license or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is an advantage but not always required.
