Oon & Bazul LLC, a prominent Singapore Law Firm is looking to hire an IT Executive to support the day‑to‑day IT operations of the firm. This is a hands‑on role focused on execution and operational delivery of day to day IT support.
The IT Executive should be equipped to manage Level 1 and Level 2 support, assist with system operations, manage IT assets, and help coordinate updates, upgrades, and patching to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable IT services.

Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Support
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to users (hardware, software, connectivity issues).
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and common application issues.
- Support Windows environments and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to relevant vendors.
Core Systems & Applications
- Assist in supporting core systems such as document management, practice management, and legal applications, including AI tools.
- Perform basic checks, routine tasks, and user issue follow‑ups under guidance.
- Support daily IT operations to ensure system uptime and reliability.
Onboarding, Offboarding & Access
- Execute IT onboarding and offboarding tasks (device setup, account creation, access removal).
- Ensure users are set up correctly and promptly according to firm procedures.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain IT inventory records (devices, licenses, peripherals).
- Track asset allocation, returns, replacements, and warranty status.
- Assist with basic procurement coordination and asset audits.
Updates, Patching & Coordination
- Assist with system updates, upgrades, and security patching.
- Coordinate with users and vendors to minimise disruption.
- Perform post‑update checks and report issues.
Security & Good Practices
- Implement and maintain endpoint protection, patch compliance, and backup verification across all firm devices.
- Monitor for and respond to security alerts, suspicious activity, and phishing attempts; escalate promptly per incident response protocol.
- Support access control reviews — ensure user permissions match role and are revoked promptly on offboarding.
- Maintain password policy compliance and enforce MFA adoption across systems.
- Assist in maintaining and testing the firm's IT incident response and business continuity procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards required under PDPA and legal industry norms.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of IT support or operations experience.
- Basic working knowledge of:
- Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications, Desktop and laptop troubleshooting
- Exposure to networking or IT support tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and follow structured IT processes.
- Clear communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
- Responsible, organised, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Practical experience with endpoint security tools, backup systems, and incident escalation (not just theoretical knowledge).
- Prior experience in an environment that has undergone a security incident or audit is a strong advantage.
