We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Test Engineer/ Fresh Grads to join PS GaN RD PVT FT team in Melaka. As a Test Engineer with a focus on GaN products, you will play a key role in creating test solutions for new products, including test programs & test hardware. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, manufacturing, and reliability lab, to make sure projects are delivered on time.
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Test Program creation & Test Hardware Design - mainly focusing on discrete GaN products.
- Program & Hardware Debugging – to ensure test readiness & stability before releasing to production
- Test Optimisation - test time reduction, test insertion removal, higher parallelism Migration.
- Interfaces with design, process, reliability and manufacturing engineering to solve product issues and production problems in terms of yield, stability and quality.
- Develops and sustains process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields.
- Provide customer return verification support including implement containment & preventive actions.
- Support reliability lab to enable new product testing
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Min. 0-5 years of experience in product testing, manufacturing, or a related field, with a strong interest in product testing, programming, and hardware design.
- Strong foundation in programming languages, such as Python, C++, or MATLAB, and experience with data analysis tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
