What you will be doing

  • Safe operation of a CNC vertical milling machine.
  • Set-up fixtures and machine for manufacturing a part to print.
  • Make necessary program adjustment and perform tooling offsets.
  • Maintain CNC machines in a clean and organized manner.
  • Maintain tool-room inventory of necessary cutting tools and supplies.

Starting Rate of pay: $25.25/HR

Shifts Available and Hours:

12-hour continental night shift

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differential

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

  • Prior experience in CNC machining/operation required.
  • Must be able to read micrometers, calipers and height gauge.
  • Proficient use of computer and software (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Proficient use on measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measure etc.).
  • Read and interpret drawings.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • CNC programming experience a plus.
  • SAP software experience a plus.
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Mastercam software preferred.
  • Attention to detail with a zero-error mentality is a must.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Must maintain good safety and attendance record.
  • Mathematical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, in whole numbers, fractions, decimals and ability to compute percentage.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
