The salary range for this role is $67,000.00 to $83,800.00. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join the Finance team in our Windsor, ON office. Reporting to the Site Financial Controller, this role will play a key part in understanding, analyzing, and communicating production variances across the site. The Senior Cost Analyst will support month-end close, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and operational analysis while partnering closely with Finance and Operations leaders. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with detailed financial data and translating it into clear business insight for a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with the month-end financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with Pernod Ricard policies, procedures, and established best practices.
  • Analyze monthly production department variances, including work order variances, weekly department results, monthly efficiency results, and financial and operational performance reports.
  • Review and analyze purchase price variances, including forecasting variances, tracking efficiency projects, and communicating key drivers to Finance and Operations stakeholders.
  • Support monthly reporting and analysis for key operational and financial metrics, including Finance and Operations key performance indicators, manpower reporting, headcount, and full-time equivalent reporting by department.
  • Assist with rolling forecast reporting, quarterly key cash driver consolidation, maturing inventory analysis, capital expenditure reporting, and other cash flow-related analysis.
  • Partner closely with Operations leaders and other divisions to provide ad hoc analysis across budget management, cost of goods analysis, cash flow forecasting, export market opportunities, and other strategic and tactical business needs.
  • Support the annual budget process for production costs, materials, manpower, and non-personnel expenses, including analysis of changes from prior year, current operational assumptions, and SKU-level costing for the annual budget.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of progressive finance, accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes, including budgeting, month-end close, financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with required proficiency in Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial results, identify key business drivers, and communicate findings clearly.
  • High degree of integrity, accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Self-starter, team player, and relationship-builder who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
