Operating across multiple markets, they are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to partner with senior leadership and help shape the commercial direction of the business.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will work closely with Commercial, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Executive teams to provide meaningful analysis that supports strategic decision-making.

You will play a key role in business planning, forecasting, performance management and investment decisions, ensuring commercial opportunities are supported by robust financial insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior business leaders to influence commercial and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range business planning processes.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities across the business.
  • Monitor commercial performance through KPIs and performance dashboards.
  • Develop business cases for strategic investments, pricing initiatives and growth opportunities.
  • Challenge assumptions and provide independent financial perspective to support sound decision-making.
  • Drive profitability through margin analysis, cost optimisation and revenue improvement initiatives.
  • Support pricing, promotional activity and customer profitability analysis where appropriate.
  • Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting, planning and business processes.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Commercial, Operations and Supply Chain functions.

About You

You are commercially minded, analytically driven and naturally curious. You enjoy understanding how businesses operate and are confident influencing stakeholders at every level.

You combine strong financial expertise with excellent communication skills and can translate complex financial information into clear commercial recommendations.

Experience Required

  • Experience within Commercial Finance, FP&A, Business Performance or Business Controlling.
  • Strong commercial partnering experience with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience supporting strategic business decisions through financial insight.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning expertise.
  • Experience developing business cases and investment analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud or Tableau would be advantageous.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred.
