Do you have an interest in supporting and improving purchase, warehouse, planning, and production processes in a SAP environment? Are you motivated by driving change, improving SAP setup, and strengthening the way SAP supports day-to-day operations?

As ALK continues to grow, increasing and improving the utilization of SAP is a key part of our development. This enables higher efficiency, stronger control, and improved data extraction for reporting. To support this, we are looking for a colleague who understands logistics and production processes and can translate operational needs into effective SAP solutions.

The position

As a SAP Process Specialist, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization – including Logistics, Production, and Quality – to understand current processes and define how SAP should be configured to support them in the most optimal way. We work in a GMP-regulated environment, where all changes to SAP are documented.

You will be the fourth member in the SAP Support team. As onsite support is needed from our stakeholders, it’s preferred to have most of the working hours at the office in Hørsholm.

The SAP Support team works collaboratively, with a strong focus on transparency and teamwork. We share responsibilities and take pride in supporting one another, so we succeed as a team.

The team supports both:

  • Daily operational and business processes, and
  • Cross-functional projects to optimize and expand our business.

In the upcoming years, you will be involved in a global roll out of SAP S/4 HANA. This will be done in close collaboration with IT department in Spain.

You will:

  • Define new SAP processes and functionalities to improve quality, transparency, and efficiency in current and future operational processes
  • Use and manage relevant SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, QM) supporting the operational area end-to-end
  • Act as an interface between operational areas and IT, explaining the link between business processes and technical SAP solutions in clear terms
  • Gain insight into costs and value streams, as reflected in how the business operates through SAP

Key responsibilities

Your tasks will vary. Examples include:

  • Supporting colleagues in Logistics, Production, Quality, and related areas with troubleshooting and resolving urgent SAP issues
  • Supporting minor to major projects with SAP knowledge and solutions
  • Defining and ensuring the implementation of improved master data and SAP functionality setup to optimize ALK’s business
  • Requesting, testing, and validating new SAP functionalities
  • Ensuring the validated state of SAP operational transactions
  • Establishing, supporting, and conducting training related to SAP
  • Update and establish required documentation

Collaboration and working context

You will work with multiple stakeholders at our site in Hørsholm and with colleagues in Spain, Poland, US, France who also work with SAP. The role includes both back-office SAP activities and more hands-on involvement, depending on project needs and operational requirements.

You will consistently act as an interface between operational areas and IT, ensuring understanding and alignment between business requirements and technical SAP solutions.

Your profile

You have a technical education within engineering, supply chain, science, or a related field, supplemented by:

  • Interest and aptitude for working with SAP and IT systems in general
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including an understanding of the role of a support function
  • Fluency in Danish and English, spoken and written
