Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Design and improve production layouts, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing manufacturing processes and production readiness plans.
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improving quality, throughput, and efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for manufacturing issues.
  • Develop process validation plans and support equipment qualification activities.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and product quality.
  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and automation solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and process optimization.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of process validation, root cause analysis, and quality improvement tools.
  • Experience with CAD software and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical device, industrial equipment, or semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Familiarity with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality standards.
