We're partnering with a well-funded, fast-growing HealthTech startup that recently closed its Series A funding and is making a significant investment in AI product development. The company is transforming healthcare price transparency by helping employers, health plans, and consumers make smarter, more informed healthcare decisions.
This is not a traditional actuarial role focused on reporting or reserving. You'll partner with product, engineering, and AI teams to develop the actuarial models and algorithms that power innovative healthcare technology.
What You'll Do
- Develop and enhance actuarial models that drive AI-powered healthcare products.
- Analyze medical claims, provider pricing, reimbursement, and utilization data.
- Build algorithms that improve healthcare cost transparency and support better decision-making.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to bring new products to market.
- Play a key role in shaping innovative solutions from concept through launch.
What We're Looking For
- ASA or FSA designation.
- Healthcare actuarial experience with health plans, consulting firms, TPAs, or provider organizations.
- Strong understanding of medical claims, provider reimbursement, healthcare pricing, and benefit plan design.
- Experience translating complex data into actionable insights.
- A passion for innovation and building products that create real-world impact.
