This role is responsible for managing personnel, tracking performance metrics, and acting as the key liaison between production, quality, and customer service to meet company goals. Onsite at our Macon , Georgia location.
Your challenges….
- To lead and develop a high-performing team by ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all daily operations.
- Attendance, Payroll, and Labor Management · Track and verify daily team attendance, punctuality, and hours worked.
- Accurately compile and review weekly timesheets for payroll processing, ensuring correctness and compliance with company policy.
- Monitor and report on man-minutes worked to analyze labor efficiency and productivity. · Manage PTO requests, absences, and schedule coverage to maintain operational continuity.
- Performance and KPI Monitoring · Update and maintain daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), specifically tracking: · Elkhart Completions: Units or tasks completed against the target. · Daily Efficiency: Actual output vs. standard expected output (e.g., efficiency percentage).
- Analyze KPI data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and recognize high performance. Report on team performance in line with established company and team goals.
- Production Scheduling and Workflow · Develop and communicate the day-to-day production schedule based on fluctuating customer demand and available headcount.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for This Role: · Team Attendance and Punctuality Rate · Weekly Payroll Accuracy · Daily/Weekly Efficiency Percentage · Elkhart Completion Rate vs. Target
- Assign tasks to team members effectively, leveraging individual strengths to optimize output.
- Proactively address and resolve bottlenecks to maintain a smooth workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Quality Assurance and Control · Perform regular installation and process audits to ensure work is held to the highest company quality standards. · Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Work directly with the Quality Assurance department to address non-conforming parts, manage returns, and prevent reoccurrence.
- Team Development and Support · Ensure all team members have the necessary knowledge, training, tools, and equipment to perform their duties safely and efficiently. · Identify individual and team training needs and coordinate with relevant departments to facilitate development.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration · With Quality & R&D: Collaborate on product improvement ideas based on field feedback and initiate/participate in new product development projects.
- With Production & Customer Service: Work hand-in-hand to resolve issues related to on-time delivery, product shortages, and customer complaints. Serve as the primary point of contact for installation-related inquiries.
- Employee Engagement and Leadership · Conduct meaningful one-on-one meetings with every team member on a monthly basis to: · Discuss performance, goals, and career aspirations. · Address concerns and provide constructive feedback.
- Gauge and improve team morale.
- Handle disciplinary actions in a fair, consistent, and documented manner, in accordance with company HR policy.
- Safety and Compliance · Champion a culture of safety by enforcing all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations. · Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure a clean and orderly work environment (e.g., 5S).
- Lead incident investigations and ensure all safety concerns are reported and addressed promptly.
- Schedule Adherence · Quality Audit Pass Rate · Number of Safety Incidents (Target: Zero)

- A valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation (Required)
- You are mechanically inclined and have experience using power tools
- Able to read and understand plumbing and electrical diagrams
- Able to attain MAC608/609 certification (company paid training and certification)
- You are able to travel locally and work on weekends (as needed)
