Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PLM Architect / Principal Windchill Consultant with over 20 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and extensive expertise in the PTC product ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for defining PLM strategies, leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, architecting scalable Windchill solutions, and driving global PLM implementations, upgrades, integrations, and migrations.
The role requires deep technical expertise, strong consulting capabilities, executive stakeholder management, and proven experience delivering large-scale global PLM programs across engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and supply chain functions.
PLM Strategy & Architecture
· Define and govern enterprise PLM roadmap aligned with business objectives.
· Develop future-state PLM architecture supporting Digital Thread and Digital Transformation initiatives.
· Act as trusted advisor to customer leadership teams on PLM strategy and adoption.
· Lead PLM maturity assessments and transformation programs.
· Create enterprise architecture standards, governance models, and implementation frameworks.
PTC Windchill Solution Architecture
· Design and architect end-to-end solutions using:
o PTC Windchill PDMLink
o Windchill ProjectLink
o Windchill MPMLink
o Windchill PartsLink
o Windchill Supplier Management
o Windchill Quality Solutions
o Windchill Navigate
o Windchill RV&S (Integrity)
o Codebeamer ALM
Business Process Consulting
· Lead workshops with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Service teams.
· Define and optimize business processes including:
o NPI/NPD
o Change Management (ECN/ECR)
o Configuration Management
o Document Management
o CAD Data Management
o BOM Management
o Variant Management
o Supplier Collaboration
o Product Compliance
o Align PLM processes with industry best practices.
Integration Architecture - Architect integrations between Windchill and enterprise systems:
Data Migration Leadership
· Lead legacy PLM migration programs into Windchill.
· Define migration strategy and governance.
Program Delivery & Governance
· Lead global delivery teams comprising architects, consultants, developers and business analysts.
· Establish governance structures and steering committees.
· Manage project risks, dependencies and technical escalations.
· Support proposal development, RFP responses, SOW preparation and solution estimation.
Innovation & Digital Transformation
· Drive adoption of:
o Digital Thread
o Digital Twin
o MBSE
o MBD
o Smart Manufacturing
o Industry 4.0
o AI/GenAI use cases in PLM
Industry Experience
Strong experience in one or more of the following industries:

Educational Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Computer Science or equivalent)
· Master's Degree / MBA (Preferred but not mandatory)

The expected salary range for this position is between $77,500 to $1,50,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
