At Oliver Healthcare Packaging, we're passionate about protecting the products that improve and save lives. We're looking for a Packaging Engineer to join our growing team in Costa Rica and help deliver innovative sterile barrier packaging solutions for healthcare customers around the world.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine engineering, laboratory testing, customer collaboration, and product development while working alongside global teams in R&D, Quality, Operations, Sales, and Marketing.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop sterile barrier packaging solutions for medical device and pharmaceutical customers.
• Provide technical guidance on material selection, packaging design, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage future laboratory testing and perform material and packaging evaluations.
• Lead technical investigations, root cause analysis, and product performance assessments.
• Support customer complaints, CAPA activities, and validation projects.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop technical resources and provide training to customers and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

✔ Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field

✔ 3+ years of packaging engineering or related experience

✔ Knowledge of sterile barrier systems, flexible packaging, and ISO 11607

✔ Experience with laboratory testing and analytical tools such as Excel and Minitab

✔ Strong problem-solving and communication skills

✔ Fluency in English and Spanish
