Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Directly supports APQP and responsible for all plant deliverables.
  • Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Ensures conformance to TS16949.
  • Measures and tests products and tabulates data concerning materials, products, or process quality and reliability. May direct others to perform these tasks. Uses CMM and other lab equipment.
  • Conducts training sessions on process control activities.
  • May develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
  • Provides technical analysis in the areas of: problem solving, inspection, and test methods. Responsible for quality plans and the development of control plans, flow diagrams, FMEA process control checks and inspection procedures.
  • Assures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and product quality issued by OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Daily communication with customers and co workers via email, phone, internet portals.
  • Has responsibility and authority to prevent all Environmental and Safety nonconformities and stop any nonconforming operations until corrective action has been completed.
  • Must actively support our Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, immediately report all dangerous situations and correct them when able to do so safely, participate in all required Safety Training, meetings, inspections and use all required PPE.
  • Must have Customer Scorecard Training

Very self-motivated individual that has good attention to detail, problem solving skills and follow through. This is an ideal position for a new grad who has the basics and wants to learn to apply them.
