Onsite or Remote: onsite 100% willing to entertain 2 days remote.

Target Pay: $65-75/hr.

Overview

Our client is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to support their Solution Delivery Center and Project Management Office (PMO). This individual will manage a portfolio of technology-focused initiatives while helping mature and standardize PMO processes, methodologies, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple IT and infrastructure-related projects from initiation through completion.
  • Manage assigned project portfolios, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to drive project execution.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance project management artifacts, templates, and documentation.
  • Contribute to PMO maturity efforts, including establishing new processes, governance standards, and project methodologies.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve project templates and tools to increase project delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Demonstrated success delivering technology and systems infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Experience creating and managing project artifacts including:
  • Project charters
  • Project plans/schedules
  • Risk and issue logs
  • Status reports
  • Change requests
  • Communication plans
  • Familiarity with portfolio management concepts and PMO governance.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Background

  • Experience supporting PMO development or process improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to business analysis, systems administration, organizational change management, or process improvement environments.
  • Ability to recommend and enhance project management templates, processes, and best practices.

Work Environment

  • Client preference is primarily onsite (mirroring current team expectations) but could entertain 2 days remote.
  • Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
