HR Manager (French Speaking)

A leading international financial services organisation is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support its European workforce. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused HR professional to join a dynamic, fast-paced business and act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role

As HR Manager, you will partner with business leaders to deliver both strategic and operational HR support, ensuring the effective management of people matters while maintaining compliance with local employment legislation. The role has a particular focus on supporting populations in France and Switzerland, making expertise in both jurisdictions essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and leadership teams on a broad range of HR matters.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Support organisational change, restructures, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Advise stakeholders on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases with confidence and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with global HR colleagues to deliver key people initiatives and projects.
  • Support talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with local legal and regulatory requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Fluent French language skills (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior HR Business Partner position.
  • Strong knowledge of French & Swiss employment law.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, international environment.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.

Desirable Experience requires:

  • Previous experience within financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams across Europe.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent.
