About the Role
City Pop is looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our portfolio in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, including our long-stay apartments and City Pop 2NIGHT hospitality operations.
Based in Lausanne, you will regularly travel to Geneva to inspect our properties, support local teams and suppliers, and ensure that every building consistently meets City Pop's operational and quality standards.
This role combines operational leadership, team management and continuous process improvement. You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience while ensuring efficient operations, cost control and high-quality execution across housekeeping, maintenance and facility management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all City Pop properties and City Pop 2NIGHT in French-speaking Switzerland.
- Lead and support local operational teams and external service providers.
- Ensure apartments and common areas meet City Pop quality standards through regular inspections and audits.
- Monitor operational KPIs, guest feedback and online reviews, implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance and technical interventions to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Control operational budgets, supplier performance and service quality while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Support, Technical, Commercial and Finance teams to optimize processes and deliver an excellent guest experience.
- Support the opening of new properties and contribute to operational projects across the region.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience in hospitality or serviced apartment operations, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage external partners.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working with operational KPIs, budgeting and performance management.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a strong customer service mindset.
- Fluent French and English are required; German is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Mews is considered a plus
- Willingness to travel weekly by train between Lausanne and Geneva.
