We are looking for a talented Operator Key Account Manger for our Visual Display team in our Dubai office. In this role, you will will be responsible for developing and scaling the Samsung TV business through the Operator channel across the UAE and GCC.
How You Will Make An Impact:
- Develop partnerships and strengthen operator relationships across GCC at commercial, marketing, and senior leadership levels.
- Ownership of listing all Samsung Visual Display product portfolio within each operator's hardware and bundle roadmap.
- Develop Go-to-Market jointly with operators on new TV launches ensuring Samsung TV secures hero positioning at launch.
- Design and negotiate bundle propositions where Samsung TV is paired with operator broadband, TV content packages , and installment / Device-as-a-Service plans.
- Drive platform integration and Samsung TV Plus content partnerships with operators, including app pre-loading, content carriage, and joint subscriber acquisition initiatives where applicable.
- Oversee all ATL, Online, BTL and retail executions based on agreed Go-to-Market plans across operator-owned retail stores, websites, and door-to-door installation channels.
- Manage operator PSI and SCM coordination to ensure healthy stock levels and minimize aging across multi-country operator warehouses.
- Monitor and analyze GCC TV market dynamics, operator industry shifts, and competitor trends within the operator channel.
- Negotiate quarterly and annual joint business plans (JBPs) with each operator, including volume commitments, marketing investment, exclusivity windows, and bundle economics.
- Internal reporting on regular intervals to promote visibility on operator-channel TV business to SGE leadership, RHQ, and HQ stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements across each GCC market in all operator activities.
What You’ll Need:
- 8–10 years of extensive experience in Consumer Electronics, Telecom, or IPTV / content distribution business, with direct exposure to GCC operators.
- Post Graduate degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or related field is an advantage.
- Proven track record of building or scaling an operator / telco channel for a hardware or content brand — ideally with measurable revenue and market-share contribution.
- Existing senior relationships with at least 2–3 GCC operators at commercial / marketing / VAS / device-procurement level is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of FTTH / IPTV / 5G FWA bundling economics, set-top-box business models, content licensing, and Smart TV platforms.
- Strong understanding of GCC telecom dynamics and derive quick solutions.
- Ability to perform and work under different conditions across multiple countries and a team player.
- Extensive sales thinking and pro-active mindset, with the entrepreneurial appetite to build a channel from a low base.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across several operator accounts and countries simultaneously.
- Self-starter being able to work under minimum supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word is a must.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively across GCC markets.
