Program Manager

Role Description The Program Manager role at Purem by Eberspächer is a full-time hybrid position based in Novi, MI, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Program Manager coordinates cross-functional project activities, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality targets are met from program initiation through launch and post-launch support. This role manages stakeholder communication, prepares status reports, and facilitates regular meetings with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and commercial teams to align deliverables with customer requirements. The Program Manager tracks risks and issues, drives corrective actions, and maintains program documentation, including schedules, resource plans, and change requests. Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with customers, supporting internal and external reviews, and continuously improving program management processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Program and project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple concurrent programs and priorities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external customers.
• Ability to use project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar applications).
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments, including familiarity with product development and launch processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
• Capability to work in a hybrid setting, demonstrating self-motivation, accountability, and reliable time management.
• Knowledge of quality and process standards (such as APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949) is beneficial.
