ABOUT THE ROLE:
Interim QUALITY ENGINEER/ Interim QUALITY SPECIALIST
Client: manufacturing of engines and components
Location: Switzerland (close to French border & Lausanne)
Form of contract: freelance contractor (B2B)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on quality support within the production environment
• Analyze quality issues and lead root cause investigations
• Drive containment, corrective, and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Support escalation management and customer-related quality topics
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
• Several years of experience in a Quality Engineer / Quality Specialist role within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong hands-on shop floor experience
• Proven operational problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, etc.)
• Assertive personality with the ability to drive actions and decisions independently
Language Requirements
• French: Native-level proficiency (mandatory)
• English: Professional working proficiency (mandatory)
• German: an advantage
Engagement model: Full -time
On-site presence: 3–4 days per week
Fee: 500 eur/ manday all-in
Duration: Approximately 7 months
