Role Overview
Vice President, Group Commercial & Monitoring & Control – Reporting to the SVP, Group Commercial Strategy & Excellence, this executive leadership role is responsible for driving commercial performance, analytics, monitoring, and control across ADNOC’s Group Group Commercial & In-Country Value Executive Function
- Lead commercial performance management and governance, providing critical visibility, insights, and actionable intelligence across procurement, supplier management, contracts, purchasing, and commercial operations.
- Drive data analytics and digital enablement initiatives, leveraging enterprise systems and advanced reporting capabilities to improve decision-making, forecasting accuracy, and operational excellence.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across ADNOC Group, influencing performance outcomes, identifying improvement opportunities, mitigating risks, and supporting strategic business priorities.
- Champion continuous improvement and value creation, using data-driven insights to enhance commercial efficiency, supplier performance, cost optimization, SLA achievement, and overall business performance.
The Ideal Candidate
- 18+ years of progressive experience in procurement, commercial operations, supply chain, or related disciplines, ideally within the energy, oil & gas, or large-scale industrial sectors.
- Proven success in commercial analytics, technology enablement, business intelligence, performance management, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong strategic leadership capabilities with the ability to influence senior executives, manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships, and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of transforming data into actionable business decisions and measurable value.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline, complemented by strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a passion for operational excellence.
