About The Role

The HPS Digital Solutions Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining digital tools, applications, dashboards, and automation solutions that support the deployment of the Harman Production System (HPS). This role drives digital transformation initiatives by translating HPS methodologies, continuous improvement processes, and operational requirements into scalable digital solutions that improve efficiency, standardization, visibility, and employee engagement.

Your Team

As a part of the supervisory responsibilities, if there is not an employee to attend the process, the direct boss will have to attend the process or assign the activities to another employee (with equal qualifications).

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain digital applications that support HPS tools, methodologies, and standards.
  • Design and implement solutions for Kaizen Management, Idea Systems, A3 Problem Solving, Standard Work, 5S Audits, Gemba Walks, Layered Process Audits, Training Management, and other HPS initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HPS teams, operations, and support functions to identify opportunities for digitalization and process automation.
  • Convert manual processes into digital workflows that improve efficiency, visibility, and data accuracy.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting systems to monitor HPS KPIs, continuous improvement activities, and site performance.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within all developed solutions.
  • Support administration and continuous improvement of HPS digital platforms such as Power Apps, Power BI, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, Power Automate, Amplify, or other approved systems.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for HPS applications.
  • Train employees and site champions on the use of digital HPS solutions.
  • Gather business requirements and translate operational needs into technical specifications.
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on digital transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Standardize digital solutions to enable replication across HARMAN plants.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, automation tools, and best practices to enhance HPS deployment.
  • Support internal and external audits related to HPS systems, process compliance, and digital records.
  • Participate in operational Gemba Walks to understand user needs and identify opportunities for digital improvement.
  • Other activities as assigned by the HPS Manager.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in application development, automation, digital transformation, or manufacturing systems.
  • Experience supporting Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, HPS, TPS, Operational Excellence, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience working with manufacturing and operational environments.
