For our projects in Riyadh, Makkah and Madinah, we are looking for

ICT & ELV Engineer – 100% (m/f) with experience in the Middle East.

The Ideal Candidate will have Extensive experience in the construction-stage engineering management of large-scale hospitality and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of ICT and ELV systems, including structured cabling, active networks, CCTV, access control, public address and voice alarm, IPTV/SMATV, audio-visual, intercom, BMS interfaces, GRMS and security systems. Proven experience reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, calculations and RFIs while coordinating with consultants, contractors, hotel operators and specialist system integrators is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Review IFB and IFC ICT and ELV drawings, identify discrepancies, design changes and potential construction impacts, and prepare or coordinate RFIs and technical clarifications until closure.
  • Review shop drawings, system architecture, network topology, technical calculations, material submittals and method statements for structured cabling, fibre optics, active networks, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, PA/VA, IPTV/SMATV, AV, intercom and security systems.
  • Review hotel-specific systems and interfaces, including GRMS, guest-room controls, door-locking systems, telephony, IPTV, Wi-Fi and property-management-system interfaces.
  • Review equipment-room layouts, rack layouts, containment routes, storage calculations, coverage studies and interface-control documentation for compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate ICT and ELV interfaces with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, BMS, Fire and Life Safety, Interior Design, Security and other specialist disciplines.
  • Support BIM coordination, clash resolution and multidisciplinary system integration and follow up consultant, vendor and system-integrator comments until submissions are approved.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, hotel operators, IT teams, security consultants, vendors and system integrators to resolve construction-stage technical issues.
  • Review technical proposals, specialist RFPs, equipment selections and vendor submissions, ensuring functionality, interoperability, resilience and project requirements are maintained.
  • Verify compliance with project specifications, Saudi Building Code, authority requirements, cybersecurity requirements and applicable IEC, ISO, TIA/EIA, BICSI and NFPA standards.
  • Support procurement, factory and site acceptance testing, point-to-point testing, integrated-system testing, operator demonstrations, site inspections and resolution of non-conformances.
  • Participate in technical coordination and integration workshops, contribute to engineering progress reporting and coordinate deliverables with specialist packages, procurement and construction programmes.
  • Support review of as-built drawings, test records, training documentation and final technical submissions and ensure only approved drawings and documents are used for construction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience on large-scale hospitality, luxury hotel, branded-residence or complex mixed-use developments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structured cabling, fibre optics, active networks, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, PA/VA, IPTV/SMATV, AV, intercom and security systems.
  • Experience with hospitality systems, including GRMS, guest-room controls, door-locking systems, telephony and hotel-system interfaces.
  • Construction-stage engineering management and multidisciplinary system-integration experience is mandatory.
  • Strong experience reviewing ICT and ELV shop drawings, system architecture, calculations, technical submittals, RFIs and method statements.
  • Experience with testing and commissioning, FAT/SAT documentation, integrated-system testing and technical close-out activities.
  • Previous experience working with international consultants, PMCs, hotel operators, specialist vendors, system integrators and major contractors.
  • Middle East experience is mandatory; Saudi Arabia experience is highly preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Saudi Building Code and relevant IEC, ISO, TIA/EIA, BICSI, NFPA and international standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Navisworks.
  • BICSI RCDD, CTS, PMP or another relevant professional certification would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to be based on projects in Riyadh, Makkah or Madinah.
