For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Principal Analyst Microsoft Contract Negotiations & Licensing (remote-Us) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $105,000 – $140,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Provide actionable advice to clients on Microsoft pricing and contracting
- Develop and publish innovative insights on software pricing and contracting
- Research and analyze trends in software, SaaS, and cloud licensing
- Lead and participate in ideation and collaboration within the BTI community
- Conduct detailed analysis to address client challenges and drive outcomes
- Promote engagement with the company while supporting the sales organization
- Mentor team members and provide timely peer feedback
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Graduate degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in SaaS/software contract negotiations or vendor management
- Extensive recent experience negotiating with Microsoft (within last 12 months)
- Subject matter expertise in Microsoft licensing and negotiation processes
- Experience with software license compliance, particularly in software audits
- Familiarity with major vendors like AWS, Google, and Oracle is desired
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
