We are looking for Leading Finance Planning & Controlling Specialist to join our team and support International power trading operations across Group entities.
Key responsibilities:
Power Desk business partnering
- Act as the dedicated finance business partner to the Power Desk — single point of contact for financial planning, scenario work, and reporting on the international electricity product line
- Embed with the traders to understand deal flow, market dynamics, and risk limits, and translate them into the financial plan in near real time
- Challenge commercial assumptions constructively, surface margin and working-capital implications early, and support the desk in decision-making on new opportunities
Financial planning for international electricity products
- Plan financial indicators (P&L, working capital, cash) for international electricity trading operations
- Plan financing operations linked to the product line, including cost of capital and credit portfolio calculations
- Run scenario and sensitivity analysis to support trading decisions and Group-level capital allocation
Financial model and three-statement reporting
- Develop and maintain the financial model used for management reporting of the electricity product line
- Build calculations in the model for the three financial statements, taxes, and the direct-method cash flow — covering both actual results and plan
- Ensure consistency and traceability between commercial assumptions, financial outputs, and reported results
Management reporting and fundraising support
- Produce consolidated presentation materials for management reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Conduct research and analysis to prepare materials for internal and external fundraising initiatives
- Provide clear, structured commentary on plan-versus-actual variances and forward-looking risks and opportunities
Automation, AI, and continuous improvement
- Actively participate in automation projects covering management reporting preparation and other FP&A processes.
- Implement AI-driven ideas across finance processes to improve efficiency and analytical depth.
- Propose process improvements that strengthen data quality and reduce manual rework.
Key Requirements:
- Higher education in a relevant field (finance, economics, accounting, or related)
- At least 2 years of experience in an analyst role
- Upper-intermediate English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical capabilities and structured problem solving
- Ability to break down business cases quickly
- Fast learner with a curious, ownership-driven mindset
- Ability to negotiate constructively with counterparties and internal stakeholders
- Creative approach, especially when working on strategy-related questions
Strong advantage:
- CFA certificate (in progress or completed).
- Basic understanding of the energy market.
- Basic understanding of trading processes and key trends in international energy product markets, with a focus on electricity / power.
- Exposure to financial planning models, working capital management, or credit-portfolio analysis.
