About the role
Motion is where Cars24's storytelling comes alive-from performance video ads to product animations to brand films. We're hiring a Motion Graphics Designer who is an After Effects expert, a sharp editor and planner, and a power user of AI video and image generation.
What you'll do
- Concept, plan, and produce motion work end-to-end: storyboards, animatics, animation, edit, sound, and delivery
- Create performance video creative for Meta and Google at high volume and high quality-hooks that stop the scroll, edits that convert
- Build product and brand animations, with Rive and Lottie deliverables as a must- lightweight, production-ready motion that ships inside our apps
- Use AI video and image generation tools (Higgsfield and others) as core production tools: generating footage, styles, and variations that would be impossible on traditional timelines
- Develop repeatable motion systems and templates so the team can scale output without sacrificing craft
- Collaborate with visual designers, marketers, and product designers to keep motion consistent with brand
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in motion design with a reel that demonstrates both craft and storytelling
- The following basics are a must:
- Illustration- you can draw and adapt assets for animation, not just animate what's handed to you
- After Effects-expert-level, this is your home turf
- Rive and Lottie-you understand the difference between motion for film and motion for product, and can deliver both
- Motion design principles - timing, easing, weight, anticipation; your work feels intentional, not templated
- Video editing-you can take a brief from script to final export independently
- GenAI expertise is equally a must: AI video generation, image generation, and workflow tools are part of your daily practice, and you stay on top of what's shipping
- Comfort with fast iteration cycles and performance-marketing feedback loops
Bonus points
- DaVinci Resolve or Premiere proficiency
- Cinema 4D / Blender / 3D motion skills
- Experience producing content for Indian mass-market audiences
