Bilingual Proofreader — EN/FR (Contract, Fully Remote)

One of the world's largest marketing and advertising networks is looking for a meticulous bilingual proofreader to support a long-running consumer goods account, with a particular focus on a major food brand.

This is a 6-month contract, 20 hours a week, fully remote. It's steady, ongoing work supporting a single established client — not a one-off — and for the right person who's reliable and precise, there's a real conversation to be had about extending or growing the relationship past the initial term.

You'll be the last set of eyes before work goes out the door, in both English and French: catching the typos, inconsistencies, and small errors that undermine a brand's credibility. Proofing accuracy across both languages is central to this role, so you'll need to be equally sharp in each. This is strictly proofreading — you're safeguarding accuracy, not rewriting copy.

What we're looking for:

• 3–5 years of professional proofreading experience, ideally on consumer goods, retail, or food & beverage content
• Full professional proficiency proofreading in both English and French
• A genuinely meticulous eye — you notice the things everyone else misses
• Comfort working in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and on either Mac or PC
• Someone who can work independently, hit deadlines, and turn work around cleanly at 20 hours a week

Rate: $45–65/hr, depending on experience. Reports into a senior creative lead. This is a genuine, active vacancy.
