Senior Backend Software Engineer (US-based) — Part-time Contract, ~3 weeks | 🔥 Urgent

We're looking for a strong Senior Backend Engineer to join an existing client team and add engineering bandwidth during a critical push tied to a major distribution deal!

About the engagement:

This is a short-term, part-time contract (~3 weeks) — not a full-time hire. The architecture and roadmap are already defined; the client needs a hands-on senior engineer who can plug into the team fast and execute. In their words: "We need bandwidth."

What you'll do:

Help build MCP (Model Context Protocol) support for existing production features of the KnowMe.com platform. This is an execution-focused task, not R&D — well-scoped work that simply needs more hands, quickly.

What we're looking for:

- Senior Backend Software Engineer

- Strong API development & integrations experience

- Hands-on experience with crawlers / web crawling

- Nice to have: AI/LLM integrations or MCP experience

Requirements:

- Must be US-based (international candidates are not considered at this time due to equipment logistics and background check timelines)

- Willing to sign an NDA and complete a background check (client is SOC2-compliant)

- Company laptop will be provided
