Project Controller

Are you a recent graduate or early in your career and interested in building experience within project finance and controlling? Kongsberg Maritime is looking for a Project Controller for a 1 year temporary position.

In this role, you will be part of a project team and follow projects from start to finish, gaining valuable insight into financial planning, reporting, and project execution. You will work closely with experienced colleagues across disciplines and contribute to ensuring that projects run efficiently and according to plan. This is a great opportunity to develop your analytical skills in an international and collaborative environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the project team with financial follow-up and control
• Establish and maintain projects in ERP systems
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
• Monitor project performance and identify risks and opportunities
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineering, and procurement
• Support the Project Finance team with various tasks and analyses

We think you should have

• A bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field
• An understanding of how commercial agreements impact project finances
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with IT systems, preferably ERP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Motivation to learn and develop within project finance
• Experience from similar roles is an advantage, but not a requirement
