About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Humanitarian Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring humanitarian projects and interventions, ensuring the achievement of project objectives while maintaining compliance with humanitarian standards, organizational policies, and donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement approved humanitarian and emergency response projects.
- Monitor project activities and ensure the achievement of project goals and performance indicators.
- Liaise with field offices, partners, stakeholders, and relevant authorities.
- Prepare periodic, technical, and progress reports for management and donors.
- Monitor project budgets and support the effective utilization of project resources.
- Participate in needs assessments, situation analyses, and preliminary feasibility studies.
- Contribute to the development of project proposals and required amendments.
- Identify operational risks and challenges and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with humanitarian standards, organizational policies, and governance requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and project files.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Social Sciences, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in humanitarian project coordination, humanitarian operations, or a related field.
- Previous experience with humanitarian, international, or non-governmental organizations is an advantage.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of French is considered an added advantage.
