Riyadh
Company Description
ZORKA is an ambitious Saudi wellness and technology startup being built to become one of the Middle East's leading integrated wellness ecosystems.
The business is being developed through three connected platforms:
• A central management company responsible for strategy, governance, expansion, franchising, and brand development.
• Premium ZORKA Wellness Clubs delivering advanced wellness, recovery, beauty, and performance services.
• ZORKA Wellness Solutions focused on wellness technologies, equipment sales, manufacturing, product development, and distribution.
Unlike traditional wellness companies, ZORKA is being built as a scalable corporate group integrating wellness services, technology, manufacturing, franchising, and premium customer experiences under one brand.
Our vision extends far beyond opening wellness clubs. We are building a company that will become a regional market leader, expand across Saudi Arabia and international markets, attract institutional investment, and ultimately pursue an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
We believe companies reaching that stage must be built differently from day one—with strong governance, disciplined execution, scalable systems, exceptional leadership, and a long-term vision.
We are looking for experienced leaders who want to build something meaningful from the ground up and become part of the founding executive team on this journey.
Role Description
The Managing Director is a full-time, on-site executive leadership role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Managing Director will work directly with the Founder to transform the ZORKA vision into a fully structured, operational, and scalable business.
Working alongside the Founder, the Managing Director will help build the company with the governance, operational discipline, financial controls, executive leadership, and organizational structure required to support future institutional investment and, over the long term, position the business for an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
This is not a traditional role focused on managing an established company. The successful candidate will help build the organization from its earliest stage, establish its corporate structure, recruit key leaders, develop operating systems, prepare the company for investment, and lead the launch and expansion of the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the company's Saudi Arabia market-entry and growth strategy.
• Establish the Riyadh management office and corporate operating structure.
• Lead the launch of the first ZORKA Wellness Club.
• Support the development of manufacturing, wellness technology, distribution, and franchising divisions.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead the executive leadership team, including Finance, Operations, Commercial, HR, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Technology leaders.
• Build budgets, financial controls, KPIs, reporting systems, governance frameworks, policies, and operational procedures.
• Manage full P&L responsibility while ensuring disciplined capital allocation and resource management.
• Support fundraising, investor relations, board reporting, and strategic partnerships.
• Build relationships with Saudi investors, government entities, landlords, suppliers, franchise partners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead multi-site expansion across Saudi Arabia and prepare the business for regional and international growth.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
Qualifications
• Proven senior executive leadership experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated success building, launching, scaling, or transforming businesses.
• Experience leading multi-site operations and regional expansion.
• Strong strategic, commercial, financial, and operational leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing full P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and business performance.
• Proven experience recruiting, developing, and leading executive leadership teams.
• Experience working with founders, boards of directors, private equity, institutional investors, or publicly listed companies.
• Experience helping scale a business through institutional investment, IPO readiness, or public company leadership is highly desirable.
• Experience in wellness, hospitality, luxury retail, healthcare, franchising, manufacturing, technology, or premium consumer services is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent executive education is preferred but not required.
• Professional fluency in English is required. Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Opportunity
ZORKA is looking for a builder—not just an administrator.
This is a rare opportunity to join the company at the beginning of its journey and help build every major part of the business—from strategy and governance to operations, executive recruitment, expansion, and organizational culture.
Our ambition is to build one of the Middle East's leading integrated wellness companies and, when the business is ready, pursue an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
