Position: Language Music Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50–$70/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 2–5 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Transcribe melodies by ear with accurate pitch and rhythm. Recognize key, tempo, and time signature.
- Handle sung lyrics with strong fluency, including accents and less-clear delivery.
- Work independently to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the AI research team to improve model outputs.
- Adapt to flexible hours as the project expands.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Formal musical training or professional experience.
- Degree in music or equivalent experience as a musician, composer, transcriber, engineer, or teacher.
- Strong ear for music and ability to transcribe accurately.
- Fluency in handling sung lyrics in various languages.
