Job Title: ServiceNow Project Manager (ITSM & ITOM / Discovery)

Location: Remote (TX)

Duration: Long term Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise ServiceNow projects with expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and Discovery, while working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate project activities across business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and implementation partners.
  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings, sprint planning, status meetings, steering committee updates, and project reviews.
  • Ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow modules including:
  • ITSM
  • ITOM
  • Discovery
  • CMDB
  • Manage Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive dashboards.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployments, and hypercare activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handoff.
  • Monitor project financials including forecasting, budgeting, and resource utilization.
  • Drive issue resolution and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience.
  • 5+ years managing ServiceNow implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • ServiceNow ITSM
  • ITOM
  • Discovery
  • CMDB
  • Experience working with implementation partners and offshore development teams.
  • Experience managing enterprise-scale IT transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certification
