Talent Operations Specialist
Location: Remote with preference for candidates based in Denver, CO
Travel: Limited travel for team meetings, client visits, industry events, and training
About the Role
Workspire is seeking a Talent Operations Specialist to support our growing recruiting business and help deliver an exceptional experience to candidates and clients across the construction, engineering, manufacturing, and built-infrastructure industries.
This role will work closely with Workspire’s Founder and recruiting team to support candidate screening, job-posting management, applicant coordination, candidate communication, recruiting systems, and general business operations.
The Talent Operations Specialist will begin by learning the foundational elements of Workspire’s recruiting process through hands-on training, direct exposure to searches, candidate engagement, and close partnership with experienced recruiters.
This is not intended to remain a traditional administrative or coordination position. The long-term path for this role is to develop into a full-cycle recruiter who can independently source, engage, assess, and place candidates using Workspire’s proprietary recruiting methods and relationship-driven approach.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, naturally curious, comfortable communicating with professionals at all levels, and motivated to build a long-term career in recruitment.
Responsibilities
Recruiting Operations & Candidate Support
- Support active searches across construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial services, and corporate functions
- Create, post, update, and manage job advertisements across recruiting platforms
- Maintain accurate candidate, client, and search information within the applicant tracking system
- Review applicants, support candidate sourcing, and conduct introductory screening calls
- Coordinate interviews, candidate follow-up, preparation, and debriefs
- Prepare candidate profiles, resumes, interview materials, and client-facing submissions
- Provide timely, thoughtful communication throughout the recruiting process
Recruitment Training & Development
- Learn and apply Workspire’s proprietary recruiting methods, messaging, and candidate-engagement approach
- Shadow candidate interviews, client meetings, search-intake calls, and offer discussions
- Build knowledge of the construction, engineering, manufacturing, and built-infrastructure industries
- Take on increasing ownership of candidate pipelines and searches over time
- Progress toward managing the full recruiting lifecycle independently
Business & Administrative Support
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Founder and recruiting team
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, process documentation, presentations, and internal projects
- Help improve organization, efficiency, and consistency across Workspire’s day-to-day operations
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, business operations, construction, professional services, or a related environment
- Experience within a staffing agency, executive-search firm, construction company, engineering firm, or professional-services business preferred
- Strong interest in building a long-term career in recruitment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving, remote environment
- Ability to learn new industries, systems, and recruiting methodologies quickly
- Professional judgment when handling confidential candidate and client information
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, job boards, Microsoft 365, or Notion preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $45,000 - $55,000 + commission and bonus incentives
