Software Engineer (Backend)

Job Title: Software Engineer (Golang Backend)

Experience : 3-5 Years

Location: Fremont, CA – 100% Onsite (5 Days/Week)

Interview: In-Person Interview Required

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
• Build high-performance distributed systems capable of handling large-scale workloads.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and messaging technologies.
• Develop scalable backend services utilizing gRPC for high-performance communication.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Integrate backend services with MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and other data storage technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and software quality improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional backend software development experience.
• Strong programming experience in Golang.
• Candidates with strong Java, C#, or C++ backend experience and distributed systems expertise are also considered.
• Extensive experience designing and developing distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, concurrency, and scalable system design.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
