C-Care International, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group that owns and operates four healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné, Wellkin, Grand-Baie and Tamarin, and two hospitals in Uganda, C-Care IHK and IMC. C-Care also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar.

C-Care is currently seeking a Head of Transformation & Digitalisation for the East Africa Region, based in Uganda.

Head Of Transformation & Digitalisation

Reporting to the CEO - East Africa or such other senior leader as may be designated, the successful candidate will lead the region's transformation and digitalisation agenda, driving strategic initiatives that enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency and sustainable business growth while ensuring alignment with C-Care Group priorities.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the execution of the regional transformation and digitalisation roadmap aligned with Group strategy.
• Drive business transformation initiatives and digital health solutions across the region.
• Partner with clinical, operational and executive stakeholders to enhance patient experience and organisational performance.
• Oversee healthcare systems, data governance, cybersecurity and technology capabilities.
• Champion innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies to improve care delivery and operational efficiency.
• Manage strategic partnerships, budgets and transformation initiatives to deliver business value.
• Build and lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; postgraduate qualifications would be an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in transformation, digitalisation or technology leadership roles, including experience at senior management level.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation and digital initiatives.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, digital technologies and change management.
