Role Description
- Translate seasonal concepts and creative direction into footwear designs and technical specifications.
- Present multiple design solutions in response to design critiques and feedback.
- Create technical drawings and tech packs for upper, midsole, and outsole construction.
- Support the product development process by collaborating with design leads, factories, and material suppliers.
- Track development progress and assist in managing project timelines and milestones.
Requirements
- Open to new design and development processes, with a hands-on approach to prototyping and testing ideas.
- Experience creating technical drawings and tech packs, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Basic understanding of footwear pattern making, lasts, soles, and construction across sneakers and dress shoes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines and priorities according to seasonal calendars.
- 0–5+ years of experience; entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. Expectations will vary based on experience level.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience launching sneaker products from concept to market.
- Experience designing and launching dress shoes.
- Experience with cobbling, including mock-up and hand sample creation.
- Proficiency in 3D design software such as Rhino, or Blender.
- Experience with material sourcing and production across domestic and overseas manufacturing partners (e.g., Seongsu, Busan, China, and Vietnam).
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Experience working with contemporary, luxury, or designer fashion brand.
