About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and execution-focused HR Operations & HR Business Partner to join our People Team. This role combines operational excellence with employee partnership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both process management and working closely with employees and business leaders.

You'll play a key role in ensuring seamless HR operations while partnering with employees and business leaders to deliver an exceptional employee experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
  • Coordinate pre-boarding, onboarding, documentation, and background verification.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy.
  • Process employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and statutory compliance.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, including appointment, confirmation, experience, and relieving letters.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Support HR audits and maintain employee records with complete accuracy.

HR Business Partnering

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and HR-related support.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand team needs and support people initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, wellness, and culture-building activities.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and feedback cycles.
  • Conduct regular employee connects to understand concerns and improve engagement.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and provide guidance on HR policies and processes.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies across business functions.

HR Projects

  • Drive HR process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Prepare HR dashboards, reports, and people analytics.
  • Support organization-wide HR initiatives, events, and engagement programs.
  • Contribute to employer branding and employee communication initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources with hands-on exposure to both HR Operations and HR Business Partnering.
  • Strong understanding of the complete employee lifecycle, HR operations, and employee engagement practices.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth organization is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of payroll coordination, HR documentation, statutory compliance, and labour laws.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in spoken Hindi and English is mandatory, as the role involves regular interaction with employees across multiple regions.
