Accountabilities

The Frontend Software Engineer will contribute to AI-focused engineering initiatives by creating high-quality frontend implementations, evaluating user interfaces, and providing technical expertise to improve development workflows.

• Translate detailed component specifications, design systems, and UI mockups into accurate, production-quality web interfaces.
• Build responsive, pixel-perfect user interface components using TypeScript, CSS3, HTML, and modern frontend development practices.
• Ensure implementations follow accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and established design systems.
• Create reusable UI architectures and maintain consistency across frontend components.
• Identify and resolve design ambiguities, inconsistencies, and implementation challenges before delivery.
• Optimise frontend performance to deliver fast, reliable, and seamless experiences across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with remote engineering teams through technical documentation, code reviews, and constructive feedback.
• Provide frontend expertise to support the training and evaluation of advanced AI models.
• Contribute insights into best practices for modern frontend development and user interface quality.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has strong frontend development experience, excellent attention to visual detail, and the ability to independently deliver high-quality work in a remote environment.

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, CSS3, HTML, and modern responsive web development.
• Proven experience building pixel-perfect interfaces from design files, mockups, or screenshots.
• Experience working with component libraries, design systems, and reusable UI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards (WCAG), and frontend performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and component-driven development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a distributed environment.
• Experience with enterprise design systems or large-scale frontend applications is a plus.
• A Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is advantageous but not required.
