Job Title: (Sr.) IT Manager

Reporting to: IS&T Director

Location: Seoul, Korea

Position Summary

The IT Manager at LVMH Fashion Group Korea, reporting to the IS&T Director, is a pivotal role responsible for the comprehensive management of IT operations for Fashion Group Maisons. This encompasses the oversight of IT infrastructure and workplace environments across both office and retail stores, ensuring high-quality IT service delivery, efficient end-user computing support, and robust cybersecurity defenses. The IT Manager will lead and manage the IT Project Manager, oversee all IT service vendors, and act as the main point of contact for all IT general activities. A critical aspect of this role involves maintaining strong relationships with various brands and managing the IT operational budget. The position demands a strong focus on IT Service Management, infrastructure stability, and proactive cybersecurity measures to safeguard the organization's digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

1) IT Service Management (ITSM) & Operations Oversight

  • Manage and oversee the IT Service Management (ITSM) framework, utilizing ServiceNow for efficient incident, problem, and request management.
  • Ensure seamless IT service delivery by overseeing outsourced helpdesk functions and proximity engineers for timely support across offices and retail stores.
  • Monitor service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure high-quality IT support and continuous improvement of ITSM processes.

2) IT Infrastructure & Workplace Management

  • Responsible for the stable operation, maintenance, and strategic development of IT infrastructure in both office and retail store environments.
  • Manage office IT infrastructure, including online meeting systems, server rooms, network systems (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), and server hardware.
  • Oversee retail store IT infrastructure, ensuring robust connectivity and reliable in-store system performance.
  • Govern infrastructure changes, releases, and configuration management processes to minimize operational risk and disruption.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system configuration documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

3) End-User Computing (EUC) Management:

  • Manage the full lifecycle and support for end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and other IT peripherals.
  • Ensure efficient provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and secure usage of all EUC equipment.

4) IT Security & Cyber Defense Support:

  • Serve as the local point of contact for IT security matters, collaborating closely with regional and global security teams.
  • Support local security operations, including monitoring, incident response coordination, and vulnerability management.
  • Assist the IS&T Director and regional security team in the deployment of security projects and initiatives within the Korean market.
  • Contribute to data compliance protection efforts, ensuring alignment with regional guidelines and local regulations.

5) Project & Vendor Management:

  • Directly manage and guide the IT Project Manager, primarily overseeing retail store-related projects.
  • Undertake additional IT-related projects as assigned, based on business needs, workload, and individual skill sets.
  • Independently manage new project initiatives, from planning and requirement gathering to framework development, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) with all IT service vendors, optimizing performance and cost-efficiency.

6) IT Financial Management:

  • Manage the operational IT budget, including IT-related project budgets and recurring IT expenditures.
  • Monitor and control IT spending to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

7) Stakeholder Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with various brands within LVMH Fashion Group Korea, understanding their IT needs and ensuring effective IT support.
  • Collaborate effectively with the IS team to ensure seamless integration and support across all IS&T domains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience covering IT Infrastructure (Server, Network), IT Service Management (ITSM), End-User Computing (EUC) management, and IT vendor/budget management.
  • Strong proficiency in ITSM principles and tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is required; ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT Security and Cyber Defense concepts, including supporting security operation takes advantage.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders, moreover Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for critical support and business operations.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Korean.
  • Familiarity with luxury retail environments is a plus.
