We are looking for a highly proactive and results-driven Active Headhunter to join our talent acquisition team. In this remote position, you will specialize in outbound sourcing and recruiting for hard-to-fill, specialized, and senior-level roles across various industries. You will act as a true talent scout — proactively identifying, engaging, and closing top passive candidates who are not actively looking for new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Sourcing: Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, resume databases, internal lists, GitHub, professional networks, referrals, and other creative channels.
- Candidate Engagement: Reach out to targeted professionals with personalized, high-touch messaging to generate interest in opportunities.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruiting process for assigned hard-to-fill roles — from intake meetings with hiring managers to offer negotiation and closing.
- Pipeline Building: Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future critical roles.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on talent market trends, competitor activity, and compensation benchmarks in key skill areas.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, team dynamics, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the ATS and provide regular reporting on sourcing activity, pipeline health, and time-to-fill metrics.
Requirements
- Proven Track Record: 3+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter or headhunter with a strong emphasis on outbound sourcing for difficult-to-fill positions (tech, engineering, healthcare, finance, or specialized fields preferred).
- Sourcing Expertise: Advanced skills in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search logic, X-Ray searching, and alternative sourcing techniques.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated with excellent discipline working remotely and managing your own pipeline.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication — ability to craft compelling outreach messages and build rapport quickly.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding metrics (e.g., interviews arranged, offers accepted, time-to-hire).
- Tools: Proficiency with ATS systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever), LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools.
