Position: Shona Music Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50–$70/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 2–5 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Transcribe melodies by ear with accurate pitch and rhythm.
- Recognize and identify key, tempo, and time signature.
- Handle sung lyrics in Shona with fluency, including accents and unclear delivery.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model outputs.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Formal musical training or professional experience.
- Degree in music or equivalent experience as a musician, composer, transcriber, engineer, or teacher.
- Strong fluency in Shona.
